Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD is recommended by surgeons as a pre and post surgical treatment for a variety of procedures.

We have 2 MLD Therapists below:

Manual Lymphatic Drainage stimulates the lymphatic system promoting the removal of excess fluid and waste products from the tissues. It can promote wellness in clients with a healthy lymphatic system but is particularly beneficial when the lymphatic system is under additional pressure from excess fluid due to interrupted lymphatic flow or swelling following surgery or injury. It can reduce the pain and heaviness experienced by clients with lipodema.

Manual Lymphatic can be helpful to -

  • Reduce pain and heaviness associated with lipedema.

  • Reduce pain, swelling and promote healing following surgery.

  • Reduce pain, swelling and promote healing following an acute or chronic injury.

  • Reduce symptoms of chronic conditions such as sinusitis, arthritis, acne, post viral fatigue, repetitive movement injury in tic disorders.

  • Reduce fluid congestion such as swollen ankles during pregnancy or associated with long periods standing.

  • Promote wellness, relaxation and improved sleep.
